Sing In Silence {Harry/Ron - Closed to Padfoot}

Post  Diuqs on Thu Oct 07, 2010 1:57 am

The day had been seeming like it would drag on forever, dull and long, long and dull, there wasn't much else you could describe it with really, it was what it was.

Ron tapped his fingers impatiently against the window frame while looking out upon the large yard that surrounded the Burrow, his patience growing thin as he awaited the arrival of his best friend, Harry Potter, whom he hadn't seen for over a month now.
Summer sucked for that, it separated him and his friends, but especially him and his best friend that had to endure an even worse summer then being alone, he had to endure it with his what they would call... odd aunt, uncle and cousin, the Dursleys.

An hour passed before Ron shifted positions, groaning loudly as he checked the time and realized what had seem like three hours was really only one, time was going by waaay to slowly.

"Where the bloody hell could he be...?" he questioned aloud, knowing that his friend was supposed to have arrived just over half an hour ago to the minute.

{Not a good post, but whatever. c:}

Harry was walking up the creaky stairs, leaving the ruckus downstairs of Mrs. and Mr. Weasley over their sons Fred and George who had given his cousin what they called Ton-Tongue Toffee which had increased the size of his tongue to a big size, maybe about 2 feet long. Harry snickered. The scene the Weasleys and his aunt and uncle caused was hilarious to see. Mr. Weasley and his two other sons Fred and George had traveled in Floo Powder to get Harry, which was enough to cause the Dursleys to go in a loud uproar, and Fred and George went over the line when they fed Dudley a 'treat'. Mrs. Weasley wasn't impressed, and sent Harry upstairs so she could deal with her sons alone.

Harry struggled with his suitcase up the stairs; he was a bit late because of this, but perhaps it was well worth it. His Summer was so far pathetic and he was extremely happy to see his best friend, Ron, again. He missed the Burrow a great deal, and the friendly and happy Weasleys, but of course he missed Ron the best.
"Where the bloody hell could he be?..." He heard Ron say out loud to himself, as Harry reached the door. Harry had felt himself grow hot in the face, and he stepped into the room, setting his stuff down on the ground loudly so Ron could hear.
"Hey, Ron." Said Harry, "Sorry I'm a bit late... there was quite the commotion that happened. Hope I didn't keep you waiting too much."
